Today I spent more than two hours dealing with the medications for our trip. Bottom line is we now have them. The pharmacy came through. (Well, actually one med is out of stock, so we'll have to go through more effort to get its equivalent; that's what took so much time and will take still more time and yet another doctor's appointment to resolve.)
Another credit card horror story was related to me yesterday. A couple, each with a card in his and her name, found themselves both without use of their cards when a merchant caused one of their cards to be voided by trying too many times to get the transaction to register on the shop's card reader. I called our credit card company today to ask if such a thing could happen to Razelle and me. I was assured that if one of our cards was voided the other would still be good.
This afternoon we got an official letter from an orthopedist, stating that Razelle has a rod in her leg. With all the metal detectors in all the airports all along the way, we thought such a letter might be handy to have.
The to-do list is getting shorter, but so is the time remaining to do the to-do things still left to do.
