First Post

These are the first words of a blog that will chronicle our trip around the world. We are the Rod and the Ring. Razelle is "the Rod" because she has a titanium rod implanted in her right thigh and I am "the Ring" because I have a ring around my stomach. These implants should make our experiences unique as we travel around the world, accommodating them as we go. Razelle has limited mobility because of her rod and I have a limited capacity to eat because of my ring. Where we go and what we do there will be directly related to these "bionic" features of ours.
